# Prompt for "On User Choice in Graphical Password Schemes"

1. What security principle(s) is (are) a password-based login system supposed to provide?
2. Are any of those priciples potentially violated by allowing users the ability to choose their own passwords?
3. If you were to design a password system, how much freedom would you give users?
